What Is It?
A weekly drop-in session where Flatline staff sit down with you one-on-one to answer your questions, debug your code, diagnose your circuit, review your design, or help you figure out what to build next. No appointment. No registration. Just show up with your question.
How It Works
1
Walk In & Sign Up
Write your name and question on the sign-in sheet. First come, first served.
2
Sit Down with Staff
Explain your problem. We diagnose together. You do the fixing — we guide.
3
Learn the Why
We don't just fix it. We explain WHY it broke so you can prevent it next time.
4
Next Steps
Walk away with a solution, a resource, or a workshop recommendation.
Questions We Hear Every Week
  • “My Arduino code won’t upload.”
  • “My 3D print keeps failing on the first layer.”
  • “I got a Raspberry Pi for my birthday and I don’t know what to do with it.”
  • “My servo jitters when I add a second one.”
  • “How do I add LEDs to my cosplay helmet?”
  • “I want to get into robotics but where do I start?”
  • “I took a workshop but now I’m stuck on my own project.”
  • “This kit I bought has confusing instructions.”
Office Hours vs. Open STEM Club

Office Hours: You have a specific question. Staff answers it. Targeted, 10–30 min per person. Staff-led.

Open STEM Club: You have a project to work on. You work alongside other makers. Peer-directed, 2–3 hours. No staff instruction.

Use both! Office Hours to get unstuck. STEM Club to keep building.
